Casa Loureiro

Casa Loureiro, located in Monte Judeu, Lagos, is a building set in a rural area classified as REN, subject to a rehabilitation and alteration project.
The intervention focuses on improving and reorganizing the existing building, without increasing its footprint or volume, respecting its legal and landscape context.
A new functional layout was defined, with a T4 dwelling organized into social and private areas, ensuring greater comfort, natural light, and ventilation.
The project includes the rehabilitation of the structure and roof, as well as improvements in construction systems, thermal insulation, and window frames, enhancing the building’s efficiency.
An irrigation tank is also proposed, designed to support agricultural activities and promote efficient water use and sustainability.
