Casa Petra is an alteration and extension project of a single-family house located in Laranjeiro, Olhão, Portugal.
It is a project that explores the relationship between architecture and landscape, taking advantage of the natural topography and open views over the site. The proposal is organized through fragmented volumes and outdoor patios, creating a fluid connection between interior and exterior, using simple materials and a contemporary language rooted in local tradition.
