Casa dos Sinos

Casa dos Sinos, in Albufeira, is a building located in a consolidated urban area and within a rehabilitation context, subject to a project of alterations during construction.
The project proposes a functional reorganization of the building, redefining the housing typologies and creating 4 units adapted to current needs.
On the first floor, two units are planned with direct and independent access from the public street, through the adaptation of openings and floor levels.
Interior changes will be introduced, with a reorganization of spaces, preservation of existing elements, and improvements in functionality, natural light, and ventilation.
At façade level, openings will be adapted and a more traditional language adopted, ensuring greater privacy between units.
The intervention also includes adjustments to levels and the integration of technical elements, maintaining coherence with the building and its urban context.
