The N73 project, located on Rua Almirante Reis in Olhão, involves the rehabilitation, alteration, and extension of a pre-1951 residential building with traditional characteristics.
The intervention proposes the addition of a new upper floor and the complete reorganization of the existing layout, improving spatial quality and functionality.
The ground floor is designed as the social area, preserving original architectural elements such as vaulted ceilings, and accommodating living, kitchen, storage, and support spaces.
The new upper floor introduces private areas, including bedrooms, sanitary facilities, and access to a rooftop terrace with outdoor amenities.
To improve natural light and ventilation, skylights are introduced throughout the building, addressing the constraints of a deep and narrow plot.
